This is one of the coolest Mac apps I’ve tried recently.
Alcove basically brings the Dynamic Island experience from iPhone over to your Mac, giving you a clean and interactive space for things like music controls, timers, notifications, and quick actions — all without getting in the way of your workflow.
What stands out most is how natural it feels. The UI is minimal, smooth, and honestly looks like something Apple could have added directly into macOS.
Small feature, but it genuinely makes the Mac experience feel more modern and interactive.
