Lots of people have to call the Microsoft activation hotline to activate older products that are still in use including Office and Windows. Today Microsoft offers the option of receiving a link via text message to their “smartphone activation experience” which can also be accessed on a desktop computer. This sure beats reading the numbers out to the robot voice! I highly recommend trying it next time you need to activate a legacy product.
