Welcome back to Silicophilic.
Windows 11 just unlocked a hidden eye‑protection feature most people haven’t even noticed. It’s called Screen Tint—and and here’s how to enable it.
This feature is hidden in newer Windows Insider preview builds.
Go to Settings then Windows Update then Windows Insider Program and join the Insider channel.
Once inside, open Settings then Accessibility and scroll down until you see Screen Tint.
Instead of one basic orange filter, you now get multiple presets:
Calm Amber, Rose Tint, Soft Yellow, Cool Blue, Gentle Green, and Neutral Gray.
Each overlay is designed to reduce strain and give your eyes a break—way more advanced than Night Light.
So if you’re on the Insider build, turn it on right now and feel the difference.
